The discovery of new Levantine rock art sites usually reinforces thematic, stylistic and distribution definition criteria for this category of rock art. However, the Estrecho del Regallo I shelter (Valmuel-Alcañiz, Teruel) provides real and significant singularities in this regard. The new location pattern of the paintings on ceilings and, in one case, inside the shelter without the possibility of being seen from the outside is quite significant. This particularity has contributed to the good preservation of some of the motifs, including an archer of notable dimensions and with a series of stylistic attributes and details that make of him one of the most outstanding in Levantine rock art.
