The Water Safety Symposium: Emerging Contaminants and Innovative Approaches to Water Purification, held from 6 to 8 May 2026 in Benasque, gathered 40 researchers and professionals interested in current challenges related to water safety, emerging contaminants and innovative purification strategies. ARAID researchers Filomena Silva and Jonas Gurauskis were members of both the Scientific Committee and the Organising Committee, contributing to the design of the scientific programme and the coordination of the event.
