The hexahydride OsH6(PiPr3)2 reacts with cyclohexylmethyl ketone to give the trihydride OsH3-{C6H8C(O)CH3}(PiPr3)2, which has been characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis. In solution, the hydride ligands of this complex undergo two different thermally activated exchange processes. Two of them also show weak quantum exchange coupling.
