Regional variations in Health Care: Germany in an international context

At our joint conference, the OECD will for the first time
present a study comparing regional variations in 13 countries.
The central questions are also highly relevant to the healthcare
debate in Germany: how great are the regional variations
in selected areas of procedures? What are other countries
doing to address unwarranted regional variations? Where does
Germany stand in an international comparison?
The Bertelsmann Stiftung will expand and add greater depth
to the German part of the OECD study: district-level analyses
will be presented for nine in-patient procedures. This study is
an update of the first Healthcare Fact Check from 2011, so
that recent changes can also be indicated.

This full-day conference will be held in Berlin, on the 16th of September

Además de participar en la conferencia como experto daré una conferencia de media hora seguida de un taller
titulado: How can service providers react to regional variations?
Dr. Graf Dominik von Stillfried, ZI Berlin
